The Restaurant Zeppelin is located in the historic centre of Orvieto, a few paths away from the Communal Palazzo and from the Cathedral and close to the exit of the escalators which from the parking to “Campo della Fiera” are taking to the city.

The spirit of the restaurant, the originality of our recipes and the tight contact between the chef Lorenzo and the guests are making so that the stop at the Zeppelin restaurant is an unforgettable moment of conviviality and deserved pause from the too many stresses of the life of nowadays.

Palazzo Belmonte

Palazzo Belmonte is the perfect place for a wedding or other special event. Nothing can equal the ambience and glorious views from the Palazzo. On the clearest days the islands of Capri and Ischia seem to shimmer on the horizon, floating on an azure sea. In the evening, after the sun has lazily set, the star filled sky is a perfect canopy for the Belvedere restaurant. Capri’s twinkling lights flicker on the horizon as the waves lap on the shore below. The entire Palazzo can be reserved with sufficient notice or, if you are planning a smaller event, certain areas of the Palazzo and the gardens can be set aside for private use. Romantic ceremonies, religious or civil, can be celebrated in the family chapel, outdoors in the flower- filled courtyard or in the gardens. A beach wedding, or a service on the islet of Licosa with its lighthouse, are possible alternatives for a celebration.

Castello di Licosa
The private island of Licosa, with Castello di Licosa on the opposite shore, is a very special part of the Belmonte estate. With pinewoods as a backdrop, the house’s quayside and lighthouse mark the home of the legendary Sirens. Castello di Licosa is the Prince’s most exclusive location for a wedding or other celebration, with the sea on two sides of the house, the family chapel alongside the terrace, and Roman ruins in the pool-side gardens. This is one of the most romantic venues in the whole of southern Italy. The Palazzo’s wedding and events planner will be pleased to help you in organising all types of private events, to the highest standard. Our aim is to create the perfect day for both hosts and their guests, bringing together the best food and wine with attentive and discreet service. Security at the Palazzo and at Castello di Licosa is of utmost importance to guests. High walls surround the Palazzo and its gardens, while the gatehouse attendants at the entrance to the Punta Licosa estate will ensure a private occasion. For those cruising by yacht along the western coast of Italy, Punta Licosa is the perfect place to anchor and hold a big party on the shore at the Castello.

The Norman Tower

The Norman Tower is the biggest and the oldest one in the Amalfi Coast. Built between 1250 and 1300, it represents a rare example of an “increased” tower, moreover it may be considered
a wonderful anomaly since it is a strategic stronghold for the whole chain of coastal towers meant to sight pirate-ships coming from the south.

The Norman Tower is therefore a demonstration of the extreme flexibility of the coast tower defensive system which preserved its peculiar features even if a structure like a fortress would have been more suitable.

Nowadays the tower presents an internal partition perfectly fit to the needs of modern restoration, in fact, it was probably modified to this end in the last century already. Its excellent state allows an excellent architectural interpretability.
